# Creating a Bot

Ready to build your own bot? @BotFather makes it super easy — just follow the steps below, and you’re all set.

1. Start by sending the /newbot command to @BotFather on Telegram to create your bot.
2. Give your bot a name.
3. Choose a unique username for your bot.

# Find Your Bot Token

After creating your bot, let’s find where your bot token is. You’ll need this token later to run your bot.

1. Send the /mybots command to @BotFather and then select your bot.

2. Choose API Token from the menu.

3. Your bot token is displayed below.
